The iOS 6.1 version will go down in history as one of Apple’s most problematic. First came the 3G connectivity issues in the iPhone 4S, after users complained of reduced battery life and overheating after upgrading and now a serious security flaw that lets anyone bypass the lock screen and go directly to the Mobile application to view all contacts, voice messages and even photos.

The video below shows how it is possible to bypass the lock screen with several steps. You can check for yourself if you (unfortunately) updated to iOS 6.1. It works. The first, of course, you have to be enabled on your lock screen. The rest is to make an emergency call and cancel it immediately (after pressing the button on / off) and then repeat the process (as shown in the video).

That leads directly to the phone app where you can see the contacts, messages or pictures if you try to add a picture from the reel to the address book. Not the first time a well failure occure, but happens now with iOS 6.1, after all the above problems, it is quite unfortunate.

Apple has not yet made any statement about it, but the problem should be resolved when the next version 6.1.1 for release, which has already launched only for iPhone 4S users.
