Vertu Ti

As promised in February would have a new member in the family of exclusive Vertu phones. Once out of the arms of Nokia, the option taken is to include the Android operating system in its new phones, leaving behind a long history with Symbian. The first evidence of this is the Vertu Vi.
We are facing a terminal specifications Android that moves in a mid-range, but the exclusivity of their materials and designs makes you have a starting price of 7,900 euros. Initially there was talk that it would be even cheaper, but we see that the end is left inside than usual Vertu.

The basic model has black leather and titanium as main materials, if we go to “Pure Titanium Black”, we go above 8,500 euros. Then we have the “Black alligator” exiting € 9,500, and the “Black PVD Titanium Red Gold Mixed Metals”, which rises to 14,800 euros. They will be available from April.
All models feature sapphire crystal on your screen, and are made by hand in the UK. They also have a “Vertu button” associated with a service company that helps you not miss the luxury around you (hotels, entertainment, restaurants ..)
What we found so crazy for that amount of euros is a pretty ordinary terminal, with 3.7-inch screen, 8 megapixel camera (dual LED flash), 1.3 megapixel front another, or a dual-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 to 1.7GHz. There is also support NFC, and the battery seems to be very fair, with 1250mAh.

The fact that most attention is its 64GB of internal memory, but seeing what we paid, we expected no less. Not even in the latest version of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich appears. Nor is there LTE connectivity.
