The device with which Steve Jobs dreamed would use a ring for that purpose and emit its signal to small terminals

Apple lanzaría televisor controlado con movimiento de la mano este año

It’s no secret that Apple wants to enter households own a television, and rumors abound and information on how and when it will happen.

But now an analyst said that he heard that the TV will be released later this year at a price of between 1,500 and 2,500 dollars.

WHAT WILL?
In a research note published Wednesday, Brian White, Topeka Capital Markets, said the “iTV” will have a diagonal dimension of 1.5 meters (60 inches), but may also occur in versions of 127 centimeters (50 inches) and 140 centimeters (55 inches). Apple also will release a small “iRing” that is placed on a finger and allows the user to use the remote to control the screen by movements, White said.

Moreover, the TV screen will come with “mini iTV” of 24.6 centimeters (9.7 inches), the same size of a large iPad, White said. The “iTV” can send video to small screens wirelessly throughout the home. The concept is similar to how companies cable and satellite TV are starting to let their decoders send video signals to the iPad and other tablets.

The report is based on information collected during visits to Chinese and Taiwanese companies that supply components to Apple, said White

STEVE WANTED TO CHANGE THE TV JBS
Apple does not comment on future products before presentation events, but Steve Jobs, the late co-founder, told his biographer Walter Isaacson he wanted to fundamentally change the TV and found a way to do it. Last year there were numerous analyst reports indicated that Apple would release a TV in 2012.

Apple sells an “Apple TV” but small decoder that connects to the TV to watch movies and iTunes.

Apple shares rose $ 4.91, equivalent to 1.1%, to $ 434.70 in stock trading in mid-day, while the Nasdaq, dominated by technology companies titles, fell 0.3%. Shares of Apple are still near the lowest level in 52 weeks, $ 419, which set a month ago.
