Google is being investigated by FTC over anti-competitive practices in the US (again) [Rumor]

Back in January, the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) wrapped up its investigation on Google’s alleged anti-competitive practices regarding its search business. Google promised to make the necessary changes and all was well and good. But now, Google is reportedly facing another investigation by the FTC over anti-competitive conduct in the way it displays ads.

The FTC will be looking into whether or not Google uses its massive influence in online advertising to hurt competitors by pushing more companies to use its other services. This is of course, illegal and violates US antitrust laws.

The investigation is currently in its early stages, and there has been no indication of which Google services are being referred to.
