Firefox OS is a go, as $90 ZTE Open launches in Spain

The first smartphone or “smart” mobile phone in the world with operating system (OS) open Firefox OS is marketed today in the hands of Telefónica Spain. This SO looking to compete with Android (Google) and IOS (Apple), and soon it will be released in several Latin American countries.

According to the Chair of the Mozilla Foundation, Mitchell Baker, internet is the “most powerful” platform that has never existed, with all sorts of opportunities both global and local, and now integrated with mobile technology, through an open system.
