Motorola, today a subsidiary of Google, the Razr HD  launched a few months ago and is part of this new generation of phones that the search engine company is approaching the perfect phone to run with an Android almost unchanged. This is our review.

1. DESIGN. The Motorola RAZR HD has a solid design and sleek in which highlights his back made of kevlar that dissipates heat and also prevents the phone from slipping. That, coupled with the edges of aluminum, makes it a little heavier than other phones, but it gives appearance to be resistant. Motorola has sought to make a fairly simple design and only has three buttons: one for power on/lock and other two for volume/zoom. The only “buts” that you can make have to do with the absence of a dedicated button to take pictures and with the tray to remove the chip and the memory card, which is opened using a needle that came with your phone. 2. SCREEN. This is perhaps the strongest point of the RAZR HD. The Super AMOLED screen has a resolution of 1280 ×720 pixels at 312 ppi, that allows you to view high-definition video without problems and has a good viewing angle. The Gorilla Glass (joined the kevlar in the previous point) makes this device something sturdy and has a very good viewing angle. The design is to cut the edges while avoiding that the phone is larger in spite of it being 4.7 inches. Account with a multi-color LED for notifications, and the touchscreen responds fairly well.

3. CAMERA. Here you can be one of the weak points. Has only 8 MP, which causes it to be at a disadvantage with their competitors and suffers a bit in environments with low lighting. Has several modes (the HDR and the multishot) that are trying to compensate for this defect and a flash quite powerful, but even this does not seem to be sufficient (even more so when the digital zoom comes barely to the 4X) in environments where the lighting help, the colors stand out as being much more crisp. For the video, the thing improves: recorded in Full HD with stereo sound and at 30 frames per second, which is pretty good. 4. BATTERY. Another point that Motorola has put a lot of focus is the duration of the battery. This is 2530 mAh, which allows you to have the computer turned on 18 hours with normal use. The battery is quite large and cannot be removed in case of emergency. It also helps the system smart actions, that makes automatic adjustments to the phone. For example: you can configure it to that from a certain time don’t receive some notifications, lengthening the time of life of the phone.

5. EXTRAS. The custom version of Android that uses the RAZR HD has a widget of circular icons quite useful and little invasive that shows the time, the consumption level of the battery and the climate in the city that you can turn off if you think that consumes battery from the phone in too. In addition, the well-known ‘Smart Actions’, as we said above, help you quite to maintain autonomy. It is a very Google ‘phone’, if you wish to call it in some way, that has no icons extras. It is so ‘Google’ that your default browser is Chrome and has a suite of proprietary applications of the company of the finder. 6. PERFORMANCE. The clean and elegant design of the phone, as well as the great battery life, the definition of your screen and the video camera are the points on which this phone will attempt to defeat other of the same range.
