Position Overview

This position contributes to Gadget Salvation’s success by providing responsive and high quality technical support and daily order processing, product testing, listing and shipping of orders, as well as provide customer service to end-users through email and chat. Experience in hardware and software testing is not required as training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Listing products on our website.
  • Shipping & Receiving Orders.
  • Keep track of shipping and office supplies, maintain work areas clean and organized.
  • Provide efficient and friendly service to end customers.
  • Install and configure PC hardware and software.
  • Basic computer testing and basic repairs.
  • Assist with documenting processes and procedures.
  • Accurately track hardware issued out to end users.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Fluent english (conversational).
  • Assist with documenting processes and procedures.
  • Previous experience in customer service is preferred but not required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to build and maintain positive user relationships.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop OS and Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of Apple OS.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Self-directed, able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to follow through on, both verbal and written, instructions and effectively adhere to company and department procedures.
