02 How do I find my Mac's exact model?
Click the Apple menu and choose About This Mac to see your model, chip, and year, or check the serial number printed on the underside or back of the machine. Our Apple model & serial guide walks you through it step by step.
03 Does my Mac need to be in working condition?
Not necessarily. We buy Macs in a wide range of conditions — from like-new to units with faults or that won't power on. Just describe the condition accurately when you get your quote so the offer reflects it. We'll confirm the condition on arrival and pay out accordingly.
04 Should I sign out of iCloud and Find My before shipping?
Yes — sign out of iCloud and turn off Find My, then erase the Mac (on Apple silicon and T2 Macs, use Erase All Content and Settings; on older Intel Macs, erase the drive in Disk Utility via Recovery). This unlinks Activation Lock so we can process your Mac. Full steps are on our Shipping Instructions page.
05 Do I need to include the power cable?
Yes — please include the power cable so we can test the Mac on arrival. A keyboard, mouse, or display aren't needed for desktop Macs. Your quote will note anything else we'd like you to send along.
06 How soon do I get paid after shipping my Mac?
Once we receive and inspect your Mac, payment goes out within one to two business days. Choose from PayPal, Venmo, Zelle (all instant once issued) or a mailed check. Shipping is free with a prepaid label, and you're never obligated to accept a revised offer — if you disagree, we'll send the device back at no cost.
