Find your Acer's model number.

There are three ways to locate your Acer laptop's model number. Pick whichever is easiest — then get an instant trade-in quote in seconds.

Method 1

Check the bottom panel.

The quickest method — the model number is printed on a label on the underside of your Acer laptop.

    Flip your laptop over

    Power off and close the lid, then turn the laptop upside down on a soft surface.

  2. 2

    Read the regulatory label

    Look for a printed label and find the line marked Model — for example Aspire A515-56.

Method 2

Look at the palmrest.

Many Acer models carry a sticker beside the keyboard or trackpad. You may also need your processor type — if so, use Method 3.

    Open the lid

    Inspect the palmrest area around the keyboard and trackpad for a printed specification sticker.

  2. 2

    Note the model and processor

    The sticker lists the model and often the processor — both help us build an accurate quote.

Method 3

Use System Information.

Prefer to do it on-screen? Windows shows both your model number and processor type in two clicks.

    Search for "System Information"

    Click the Windows icon in the taskbar and type System Information.

  2. 2

    Open the top result

    A window opens with your system summary. Your System Model and Processor are listed on the right — that's everything we need.
