The 4th-generation iPad Pro (2020) has the edge-to-edge design and Face ID, but the giveaway is the dual rear camera plus a LiDAR scanner in a square housing — the 2018 model has only a single rear camera. 02 How is this different from the 2018 (3rd gen) and M1 (2021) iPad Pro?
Against the 2018 model, the 2020 adds the second rear camera and LiDAR. Against the 2021 M1 model, the 2020 uses an A12Z chip and a standard USB-C port, while the M1 model has a faster Thunderbolt / USB 4 port and (on the 12.9") a brighter mini-LED display. If your iPad has Thunderbolt or a mini-LED XDR screen, select the M1 page instead.
03 Can I trade in a 4th-gen iPad Pro with a cracked screen or battery issues?
