Charger Included?

The Apple iPad Pro (2nd generation) arrived in June 2017, powered by the A10X Fusion chip. This generation refreshed the 12.9-inch model and replaced the original 9.7-inch with a new 10.5-inch size. It was the first iPad Pro to bring ProMotion 120Hz displays and True Tone, and it remains the last iPad Pro to use a Home button with Touch ID and a Lightning connector. Because storage, screen size, and connectivity affect resale value, select your exact configuration using the tool above for an instant cash offer.

Frequently asked questions

01 How do I confirm I have the 2nd-generation iPad Pro?
Go to Settings → General → About and check the Model Number. The 2nd-generation iPad Pro (2017) still has a Home button with Touch ID and a Lightning connector, but came in 12.9-inch and the new 10.5-inch sizes — the 10.5" is the giveaway, since no other iPad Pro used that size. For help, see our guide to finding your gadget's model.
02 Is this the same as the 2018 iPad Pro with Face ID?
No. The 2017 2nd-generation iPad Pro keeps the Home button, Touch ID, and Lightning port. The 2018 model (3rd generation) introduced the edge-to-edge redesign with Face ID and USB-C. If your iPad has slim, uniform bezels and no Home button, it's the newer one — select that page instead.
03 Can I trade in a 2nd-gen iPad Pro with a cracked screen or battery issues?
Yes. We accept iPad Pro units in all conditions, whether the screen is cracked, the battery is worn, or it won't power on. Reflect the condition honestly in the grading options above and we'll lock in a cash value.
04 Do I need to remove my Apple ID before sending it?
Please back up your data, then sign out of iCloud and turn off Find My iPad, and erase the device under Settings → General → Reset. This clears Activation Lock so we can process it. See our data erasure protocols page for details.
05 Which configurations raise my trade-in value the most?
Higher storage (512GB), the larger 12.9-inch size, cellular connectivity, and clean cosmetic condition all raise the offer. Including the original Apple Pencil or Smart Keyboard helps as well. Select your exact configuration above for the most accurate figure.
