- No selling fees, unlike marketplaces
The Apple MacBook Pro 14-inch (M4, 2024) was announced on October 30, 2024 and arrived in stores on November 8, 2024. It shipped in three chip families under three regulatory model numbers: the M4 (Model A3112), the M4 Pro (Model A3401), and the M4 Max (Model A3185), each in a Space Black or Silver aluminum finish with a 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR display. Apple sold the M4 version through October 2025 and the M4 Pro and M4 Max versions through March 2026, and every unit was built to order with a different mix of chip, memory, storage, and screen glass, so those choices decide what your laptop is worth today. Many owners don't realize they can skip marketplace listings and trade in their MacBook Pro online for cash: pick your chip, memory, storage, and display glass in the tool above to see an instant offer, ship it free, and get paid within two business days of arrival.
How to identify your exact model
You don't need to be tech-savvy to get the right quote. If your MacBook turns on, click the Apple logo in the top-left corner of the screen and choose About This Mac. The window should read MacBook Pro, 14-inch, 2024, and the Chip line tells you whether you have the M4, M4 Pro, or M4 Max. The Memory line shows your RAM. To see your storage size, open the Apple logo menu, then System Settings → General → Storage. If the laptop won't turn on, flip it over and read the small print near the hinge for the word "Model" followed by an A-number.
