Charger Included?

The Apple Watch Series 7 arrived in 2021 with a larger, tougher display than any Watch before it and a faster charger in the box. It was built for people already inside the Apple ecosystem who wanted a bigger always-on screen, quicker top-ups, and the option to leave the phone at home with cellular service. Years later, it still holds real resale value: the S7 chip runs current watchOS releases smoothly, the crack-resistant front crystal has aged well, and both the 41mm and 45mm cases remain in demand from buyers who want an Apple Watch without paying flagship prices. If yours has been sitting in a drawer, pick your case size and network above for a live cash offer, then see how the process works before you commit. You can also start directly from our page to sell your smartwatch.

Confirm you have the Watch Series 7

The fastest way to confirm your model is on the watch itself: go to Settings → General → About and check the Model Name field, which will read "Watch Series 7." If the watch is paired, you can also open the Watch app on your iPhone and tap General → About. That same screen shows whether your unit has cellular by listing an EID or ICCID field for cellular-equipped models, which GPS-only units lack.

41mm, GPS

  • Smaller case, no cellular antenna lines visible on the band housing
  • Digital Crown has no red ring
  • Watch app shows no cellular plan option under My Watch

41mm, GPS + Cellular

  • Same case size as the GPS model
  • Digital Crown has a small red ring
  • Settings → Cellular shows a carrier and phone number once activated

45mm, GPS

  • Larger case, visibly bigger display area
  • Digital Crown has no red ring
  • No cellular plan listed in the Watch app

45mm, GPS + Cellular

  • Largest case option for this generation
  • Digital Crown has a small red ring
  • Cellular section in Settings shows carrier details

Prefer a visual check? Series 7 has noticeably thinner display borders than a Series 6 or SE of the same case size, so the screen looks larger relative to the bezel. The charging puck that shipped with it has a rounded, slightly thicker profile built for the faster charging speed, and the case back is stamped with regulatory text but no printed model number you can read without a jeweler's loupe.

Core hardware

Processor

  • Apple S7 dual-core system in package
  • Runs current watchOS updates without slowdown

Storage

  • 32GB of onboard storage for music, podcasts, and apps
  • Not user-upgradable, fixed at the factory

Sensors

  • Optical heart rate sensor with irregular rhythm notifications
  • Blood Oxygen app and ECG app, both electrode-based

Network

  • GPS models rely on a paired iPhone for calls and messages away from Wi-Fi
  • GPS + Cellular adds an eSIM and moves resale value up the most, since it works untethered from a phone

Display & audio

Display: Always-On Retina LTPO OLED panel, larger and brighter than the Series 6 display in the same case size, with thinner borders around the edge.

Audio: Built-in speaker and microphone for calls, Siri, and voice memos, no headphone jack, audio routes through Bluetooth or the paired iPhone.

Durability: IP6X dust resistance and WR50 water resistance rating, suitable for swimming and showering but not deep diving.

Ports & connectivity

There is no physical port for data on any Apple Watch Series 7; everything routes wirelessly through the paired iPhone or, on cellular models, directly through the carrier network.

Battery, build & more

Battery: Rated for roughly a full day of typical use, with faster charging than earlier Apple Watch models, most units go from low battery to a usable charge in well under an hour.

Dimensions & build: Available in 41mm and 45mm case sizes, in aluminum or stainless steel, with a flat sapphire or Ion-X front crystal depending on material.

Finishes: Aluminum cases shipped in colors including Midnight, Starlight, Green, Blue, and (PRODUCT)RED, while stainless steel cases came in Graphite, Silver, and Gold.

Software: Requires a paired iPhone for initial setup and runs current watchOS versions; check for the latest available update before selling.

Known issues: The larger display is more exposed to edge impacts than smaller Apple Watch generations, and multi-year batteries may show reduced runtime, both are graded fairly during our condition check.

Frequently asked questions

01 How do I find the model number or exact configuration?
Check on the watch itself: Settings → General → About, where the Model Name field reads "Watch Series 7." The same screen or the paired Watch app on your iPhone shows whether the unit has a cellular plan, which tells you if it is GPS or GPS + Cellular. Case size is easiest to judge by measuring the screen or comparing it side by side with a known 41mm or 45mm unit, since the difference is only a few millimeters. If you are unsure after checking, our model finder can help you match your unit before you request a quote.
02 How do I tell it apart from a Series 6?
Look at the display borders first. Series 7 has visibly thinner bezels than a Series 6 in the same case size, so the screen appears larger even though the case dimensions are close. Series 7 also charges noticeably faster with its included puck, and Settings → General → About will show "Watch Series 7" outright, which is the most reliable confirmation. If the model name field shows "Watch Series 6" instead, you have the earlier generation, which we buy separately.
03 Can I sell it with damage, a cracked screen, or a weak battery?
Yes. A cracked screen, a battery that no longer holds a full charge, or a unit that will not power on can all still be submitted, the quote simply adjusts to reflect the condition. What cannot be worked around is an active Activation Lock: before shipping, unpair the watch from its paired iPhone in the Watch app, which removes it from Find My automatically, or if the phone is unavailable, remove the device manually from your iCloud account under Find My. A watch still locked to someone else's Apple ID cannot be resold and will be rejected during testing.
04 What raises the trade-in value the most?
Condition of the screen and band attachment points matters most, since a cracked crystal or damaged lugs are the most common defects on a watch this size. A GPS + Cellular unit typically outvalues an equivalent GPS-only model because it works independently of a phone. Having the original charging puck, box, and bands included helps too, and a battery that still holds a normal charge avoids a condition deduction. If you are unsure how your unit will grade, request a custom quote and describe the condition directly.
05 How do I erase it and remove my accounts, and how do I get paid?
On the watch, go to Settings → General → Reset → Erase All Content and Settings, which also removes it from your Apple ID and Find My automatically. If the watch is still paired, it is often easier to open the Watch app on your iPhone and unpair it there, which erases the watch and removes it from your account in one step. Confirm the process finished by checking Find My on iCloud.com to make sure the device is no longer listed. Once erased, package it with any bands or accessories you are including. Shipping is free and insured, and payment goes out after testing by PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, or check. Full details are on our data erasure protocols page.
