ASUS ProArt PX13 HN7306
- Free, insured shipping
- Certified data erasure
- Paid within 2 business days
- No selling fees, unlike marketplaces
The ASUS ProArt PX13 (HN7306) is a 13.3-inch, 360-degree convertible creator laptop built around a 3K OLED touchscreen with stylus support — small enough to work on a plane tray table, but engineered for 4K timelines and 3D scenes. Two distinct generations share the HN7306 model number: the original 2024 models (HN7306WU, HN7306WV) pair an AMD Ryzen AI 9 processor with a discrete NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40-series GPU, while the 2026 refresh (HN7306EA), announced January 7, 2026, drops the discrete card entirely in favor of AMD's Ryzen AI Max+ 395 "Strix Halo" chip with integrated Radeon 8060S graphics and up to 128GB of unified memory. They look nearly identical from the outside, but they are not interchangeable, and the difference materially changes what your machine is worth. If you're ready to sell, our ASUS trade-in program buys ProArt models outright — identify your generation below, then use the tool above for an instant cash offer.
Is this your laptop? How to identify your ProArt PX13
You don't need to know anything about computers for this. The suffix letters at the end of the model number are what separate the two generations, so getting the full code matters.
✅ Method 1 — Flip it over (works even if it won't turn on)
- Close the lid and turn the laptop upside down on a towel or soft surface.
- Find the printed label. Look for the line marked Model.
- You want the full code including the letters at the end — for example HN7306WU, not just "HN7306."
- The label also carries your serial number and the manufacture date (MFD), which are useful if you contact us.
- If the print is too small, photograph it with your phone and zoom in.
✅ Method 2 — Check it in Windows
- Click the Windows icon in the taskbar and type System Information, then open the app.
- Alternatively, press Windows key + R, type msinfo32, and press Enter.
- Look for System Model — that's your full HN7306 code.
- The same window lists Processor and Installed Physical Memory, which is everything we need for an accurate quote. Write all three down.
✅ What the suffix letters mean
- HN7306WU — 2024 model, Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 + NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 (6GB)
- HN7306WV — 2024 model, Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 + NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 (8GB)
- HN7306WI — 2024 model with RTX 4070, sold in some markets outside the United States
- HN7306EA — 2026 model, Ryzen AI Max+ 395 with integrated Radeon 8060S, no discrete GPU
- Retail SKUs often add a longer suffix after a dash (for example HN7306WU-PX13.R3704050). The characters before the dash are what matter.
❌ This is not a PX13 if you see any of these
- A 16-inch screen → ASUS ProArt P16 (H7606) or ProArt StudioBook 16.
- A keyboard that fully detaches from the screen → ASUS ProArt PZ13 (HT5306), a Snapdragon-based detachable tablet.
- A rotating physical dial next to the touchpad → older ProArt StudioBook with the physical ASUS Dial. The PX13 uses a software DialPad on the touchpad surface instead.
- ROG, TUF, Zenbook, or Vivobook branding on the lid → a different ASUS family entirely, even if the screen looks similar.
- An HDMI port or a full-size SD card slot → not a PX13. This model has microSD only and no HDMI at all.

Core hardware by generation
The processor and graphics differ completely between the two generations. Everything in the next section — display, ports, battery, chassis — is shared.
2024 — Processor (HN7306W-series)
- AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 — 12 cores, 24 threads, 2.0 GHz base, up to 5.1 GHz boost, 36MB cache
- AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 — 10 cores, 20 threads, 2.0 GHz base, up to 5.0 GHz boost, 34MB cache (offered in some configurations)
- AMD XDNA NPU rated up to 50 TOPS, which qualifies these as Copilot+ PCs
- NVIDIA Studio validated drivers for Adobe, DaVinci Resolve, and Blender workflows
2024 — Graphics (discrete)
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU — 6GB GDDR6, 194 AI TOPS (HN7306WU)
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU — 8GB GDDR6, 233 AI TOPS (HN7306WV)
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU (HN7306WI, non-US markets)
- Ray tracing, DLSS 3 frame generation, and NVENC hardware encoding for video export
- Paired with AMD Radeon 890M integrated graphics for battery-saving switching
2026 — Processor & graphics (HN7306EA)
- AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 "Strix Halo" — 16 cores, 32 threads, 3.0 GHz base, up to 5.1 GHz boost, 80MB cache
- Integrated AMD Radeon 8060S (RDNA 3.5, 40 compute units) — there is no discrete NVIDIA GPU in this generation
- AMD XDNA NPU rated up to 50 TOPS; Copilot+ PC
- Runs at up to 115W sustained package power with ASUS Ambient Cooling
- ASUS states the chip can run optimized 120-billion-parameter language models locally
Memory (RAM) — differs sharply by generation
- 2024: 16GB, 24GB, or 32GB LPDDR5X
- 2026: 64GB or 128GB LPDDR5X unified memory. Because graphics memory is carved out of system RAM, a 64GB unit can allocate up to 48GB as VRAM and a 128GB unit up to 96GB.
- Soldered to the board on every configuration — not upgradable. There are no memory slots in this chassis.
- Since it can never be changed, memory capacity is one of the strongest value drivers on this model. Confirm yours before quoting.
Storage
- 1TB or 2TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD
- One M.2 2230 PCIe 4.0 x4 slot total, and it ships occupied. Unlike RAM, the drive is replaceable — but only with the short 2230 form factor, not the common 2280 length.
- If you swapped in a larger drive yourself, quote the capacity currently installed.
Operating system & software
- Windows 11 Home on HN7306WU; Windows 11 Pro on HN7306WV and HN7306EA
- Firmware TPM plus the Microsoft Pluton security processor
- Bundled ASUS creator software: ProArt Creator Hub, StoryCube, MuseTree, GlideX, ScreenXpert, and MyASUS
- ASUS notes this hardware was only validated for Windows 11 — Windows 10 installs may hit driver problems
Display & audio
Display (shared across both generations)
13.3-inch 3K (2880 × 1800) OLED touchscreen in a 16:10 aspect ratio, with a 0.2ms response time, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 1,000,000:1 contrast, 1.07 billion colors, and PANTONE Validated color accuracy. TÜV Rheinland certified and SGS Eye Care rated for reduced blue light, with an 85% screen-to-body ratio and full stylus support (ASUS Pen SA203H, MPP 2.0). Refresh rate is 60Hz on every configuration — this panel was tuned for color work, not high frame rates, and that remains true on the 2026 refresh.
Panel coating — a generation tell
The 2024 models use a glossy finish, while the 2026 HN7306EA adds an anti-reflection (AR) coating. If you're holding the laptop and reflections are noticeably muted under a lamp, that points toward the 2026 unit — though the model number on the bottom is always the reliable check.
OLED condition & burn-in
This is a true OLED panel, so burn-in is a real consideration. Static elements like the Windows taskbar, a timeline scrubber, or an editing toolbar can leave permanent ghosting after heavy use. Display a solid gray or white image full-screen and look for faint retained outlines before you select your condition. Visible burn-in reduces the offer, but it does not disqualify the machine — we still buy it.
Audio & camera
Built-in speakers with ASUS Smart Amp Technology and a built-in array microphone with AI Noise Canceling. Above the display sits a full HD (1080p) camera with infrared for Windows Hello face sign-in — a step up from the 720p webcams still common in this class.
Ports & connectivity
Port layout is identical across both generations. For a 13-inch convertible this is a generous selection, but there are notable omissions worth checking before you assume you have a different model.
- 2× USB4 Gen 3 Type-C (up to 40Gbps, with DisplayPort output and Power Delivery charging)
- 1× USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A (the standard rectangular USB port)
- 1× microSD 4.0 card reader (microSD only — this is not a full-size SD slot)
- 1× DC-in (rectangular barrel connector for the 200W adapter)
- 1× 3.5mm combo audio jack (headphone and microphone in one)
- Charging is also possible over either USB-C port at lower wattage
Not included on this model: no HDMI port, no Ethernet jack (some SKUs bundled a USB-A to RJ45 gigabit adapter in the box), no full-size SD card reader, and no Thunderbolt branding — the Type-C ports are USB4 Gen 3, which delivers the same 40Gbps but is certified under a different standard.
Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) Bluetooth 5.4 Copilot+ PC MIL-STD 810H Windows Hello IR
Battery, build & more
Battery & charging
73Wh, 4-cell (4S1P) lithium-ion battery on every configuration, both generations. Ships with a 200W AC adapter using a rectangular barrel connector (20V DC, 10A). That brick is expensive to replace on its own, so include it if you still have it — it measurably helps your offer.
Convertible hinge
A 360-degree hinge lets the PX13 sit in laptop, tent, stand, or tablet mode. Hinge condition matters on any convertible: check that the screen holds position at 90 degrees without drooping, and that it lies fully flat without resistance. A loose or grinding hinge is worth reporting when you select your condition.
Keyboard & touchpad
Backlit chiclet keyboard with 1.7mm key travel and a dedicated Copilot key. The precision touchpad supports ASUS DialPad — a software dial you summon on the touchpad surface to scrub timelines and adjust brush settings in Adobe apps. There is no separate physical dial on this model.
Build & durability
Nano Black finish on all configurations, certified to the US MIL-STD 810H military-grade durability standard for shock, vibration, humidity, and temperature extremes. This was pitched at photographers and videographers working outdoors, so many units have genuinely been carried into the field.
Weight
1.38 kg (3.04 lb) for the 2024 models; 1.39 kg (3.06 lb) for the 2026 HN7306EA. Among the lightest machines available with this level of creative performance.
Dimensions
29.82 × 20.99 × 1.58–1.77 cm (11.74" × 8.26" × 0.62"–0.70"). Compliant with REACH and RoHS; the 2026 model also carries ENERGY STAR certification.
Frequently asked questions
If Windows still boots, press Windows key + R, type msinfo32, and press Enter. The System Information window shows System Model (your full code), Processor, and Installed Physical Memory — everything needed for an accurate quote, in one screen. For storage, open File Explorer, right-click your C: drive, and choose Properties.
Our ASUS model number guide shows both methods with screenshots, and if the bottom label has worn away, our blog post on finding your ASUS model number covers the alternatives.
2024 vs. 2026 PX13 — open System Information and read the Processor line. If it says Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 or Ryzen AI 9 365, you have a 2024 model with a discrete NVIDIA RTX graphics card. If it says Ryzen AI Max+ 395, you have the 2026 HN7306EA, which has no NVIDIA GPU at all. A second check: open Device Manager and expand Display adapters. Seeing "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050" or "RTX 4060" listed means 2024; seeing only "AMD Radeon 8060S Graphics" means 2026. A third clue is memory — 16GB, 24GB, or 32GB points to 2024, while 64GB or 128GB points to 2026.
ASUS ProArt P16 (H7606) — the 16-inch sibling. Larger screen, heavier, and it does not fold into tablet mode. If your screen measures over 15 inches diagonally, you have a P16.
ASUS ProArt PZ13 (HT5306) — also 13.3 inches and also ProArt-branded, but the keyboard detaches completely from the screen and it runs a Snapdragon ARM processor rather than AMD. If your keyboard comes off, you have a PZ13.
ProArt StudioBook series — these carry a physical rotating ASUS Dial beside the touchpad. The PX13 has no physical dial; its DialPad is drawn in software on the touchpad surface.
Zenbook 14 Flip, Vivobook S Flip, or ROG Flow X13 — other ASUS convertibles with OLED screens. Check the lid: a PX13 carries ProArt branding, not Zenbook, Vivobook, TUF, or ROG. ROG models also have visible gaming styling and RGB lighting the PX13 does not.
A few points specific to this model. The 360-degree hinge and the touch digitizer are the two components most likely to fail on a convertible, so test both before quoting: flex the screen through tablet mode and check that touch input registers across the whole panel. Because the RAM is soldered, we assess the memory the machine shipped with — no aftermarket upgrade is possible. The SSD is the one component you may have changed yourself, since it sits in a single M.2 2230 slot; quote whatever capacity is installed now.
Including the original 200W barrel-connector charger meaningfully helps your offer, since it is a non-standard part that buyers can't easily substitute. The bundled ASUS Pen stylus and any included USB-A to RJ45 adapter are worth sending along too.
Memory capacity comes next and matters enormously here, because it is soldered and can never be increased — a 32GB machine and a 16GB machine are priced as different products. Storage capacity follows, then screen condition (OLED burn-in is the most common deduction on this model), hinge health, battery health, and whether you still have the 200W charger and stylus.
Many people don't realize that Gadget Salvation runs a full trade-in service, not a recycling drop-off — we've been buying used electronics for cash since 2008. You get an instant online quote, a prepaid UPS shipping label at no cost, free inspection by our technicians, and payment within two business days of your laptop arriving. There's no listing to write, no buyer to meet, no returns to process, and no chargeback risk. Our pricing algorithm pulls live resale data from eBay, Amazon, and Rakuten, so the figure reflects the current market rather than a fixed depreciation schedule. Creator laptops in particular hold value unusually well, so it's worth checking what yours is actually worth before assuming otherwise.
For more context, our blog covers the best ASUS laptops, the best and worst ASUS models for resale, and a Zenbook 14 review that digs into why soldered RAM affects long-term value. You can also browse the full ASUS buyback catalog if you have more than one machine to sell.
1. Sign out of your accounts: Adobe Creative Cloud (deactivate the license so it doesn't stay tied to this machine), Microsoft 365, and any Xbox or Game Pass sign-in.
2. Reset Windows: Settings → System → Recovery → Reset this PC → Remove everything. When prompted, choose Clean data for a more thorough wipe.
3. If your Microsoft account is linked for device tracking, remove the laptop from account.microsoft.com → Devices so it isn't still associated with you.
4. Leave it at the out-of-box setup screen and shut it down.
You do not need to remove the SSD yourself. Once your laptop reaches our facility, every drive is wiped with NIST-compliant erasure software that goes far beyond a standard factory reset, and any drive that fails or can't be read is physically destroyed and recycled. The full process is documented on our data erasure protocols page.
Payment is issued within two business days of your laptop arriving and passing inspection. Choose PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, or a mailed company check. Shipping is free and insured in both directions — we email you a prepaid UPS label, and all you need is a sturdy box. Pack the laptop with the screen closed and add padding around the hinge area, since that's the most vulnerable point on a convertible in transit.
