Looking to sell your ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 (2023) — model GU604 for cash? Released in early 2023, this generation was a major internal revamp of the M16 line: ASUS borrowed the higher-power motherboard and tri-fan “Pulsar” cooling from the ROG Flow X16, letting the thin 16-inch chassis run a 13th-gen Intel Core i9 with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 at 145W — well above the 120W ceiling of the previous M16. It shipped in three main configurations, all sharing the same GU604 model code: GU604VY (RTX 4090), GU604VZ (RTX 4080), and GU604VI (RTX 4070). Because your exact GPU tier and display panel swing the resale value substantially, identifying your precise configuration is what locks in an accurate quote. This page covers the 2023 GU604 only — if your M16 carries a GU603 model code (the 2021/2022 generation with 12th-gen Intel and RTX 30-series graphics), that's a different laptop with different value, and you'll want its own page. Select your components using our tool above for an instant cash offer, or trade it in toward your next device — more on our trade-in service below.
Which M16 do you have? GU604 vs. GU603
ASUS reused the M16 name across two very different generations, and they look similar from the outside. The number printed on the sticker on the bottom of your laptop is the reliable way to tell them apart. Look for a code beginning with GU604 (this page) or GU603 (the earlier model). The quickest internal tell: the 2023 GU604 runs a 13th-gen Core i9-13900H and RTX 40-series graphics, while the older GU603 runs a 12th-gen Intel chip with RTX 30-series graphics.

Display & audio
Display
All GU604 units use a 16-inch, 16:10, matte, non-touch QHD+ (2560 × 1600) panel in one of two grades. The premium option is a ROG Nebula HDR Mini-LED panel with 1024 local-dimming zones, a 240Hz refresh rate, 3ms response, up to ~1100–1200 nits peak HDR brightness, and 100% DCI-P3. The standard option is a QHD+ IPS panel at 165Hz, 3ms, 500 nits, and DCI-P3 coverage. Both are Pantone Validated with a MUX switch and G-Sync. The Mini-LED panel commands a higher resale value, so note which one you have.
Audio
Six-speaker system (2 tweeters + 4 woofers) with Dolby Atmos and Smart Amp, tuned by Dolby, plus a 3.5mm combo headphone/mic jack and AI noise-cancelation for the mics.
Ports & connectivity
The GU604 keeps a full port set for a thin 16-inch machine, with USB-C on both edges for charging flexibility. The power adapter connects on the left rear edge to keep the cable out of the way.
