The ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED is ASUS's flagship 14-inch ultraportable — an all-aluminum Copilot+ PC built around a vivid ASUS Lumina OLED display, all-day battery, and a sub-1.3 kg chassis. This page covers the latest generation, which ships in two versions under separate model codes: the Intel UX3405CA (Core Ultra Series 2 "Arrow Lake," Intel Arc graphics) and the AMD UM3406GA (Ryzen AI 400 series, Radeon graphics, with a 50 TOPS NPU). The two look nearly identical from the outside but differ in CPU, ports, and connectivity, so your exact model and configuration determine the resale value. To avoid a misquote, note that this block covers the current generation only — it does not include the very similar 2024 UX3405MA (Core Ultra "Meteor Lake," ends in "MA" not "CA"), the 2025 UM3406KA (Ryzen AI 300), the earlier UM3406HA / UX3402 / UM3402 models, the convertible Zenbook Flip 14 OLED, or the larger Zenbook 14X OLED. Core hardware configurations

Processor (CPU)

  • Intel (UX3405CA): Intel Core Ultra 5 225H, Core Ultra 7 255H, or Core Ultra 9 285H (Arrow Lake / Series 2) — up to 16 cores, with an AI Boost NPU up to 13 TOPS
  • AMD (UM3406GA): AMD Ryzen AI 5 430, Ryzen AI 5 340, or Ryzen AI 7 445 (Zen 5) — with a 50 TOPS XDNA NPU
  • The CPU is the fastest way to confirm which version you own

Graphics (GPU)

  • Intel: Intel Arc integrated graphics
  • AMD: AMD Radeon integrated graphics (RDNA 3.5, e.g. Radeon 840M)
  • Both are integrated GPUs — there is no discrete graphics option in the Zenbook 14 OLED.

Memory (RAM)

  • LPDDR5X soldered on-board — not user-upgradable, no SO-DIMM slot
  • 16GB or 32GB depending on SKU
  • Because RAM is soldered, factory capacity is permanent — confirm your exact amount before quoting.

Storage

  • M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD
  • 512GB or 1TB standard shipping capacities
  • Single M.2 slot only (no second drive bay), and due to surface-mounted board components, only single-sided SSDs are supported.

Display & audio

Display

14-inch 16:10 ASUS Lumina OLED, Pantone Validated, 100% DCI-P3, 0.2ms response, 1,000,000:1 contrast, VESA DisplayHDR True Black, TÜV Rheinland low-blue-light certified. Two panel options: a premium 3K (2880 × 1800) 120Hz panel or an FHD+ (1920 × 1200) 60Hz panel, in touch and non-touch variants. The top Intel SKUs reach 500-nit full-screen / 1000-nit HDR peak brightness. As an OLED, the panel is subject to burn-in if static images are left on screen for long periods.

Audio

Harman Kardon-certified super-linear speakers with Smart Amp Technology and ASUS Audio Booster, plus a built-in array microphone with AI noise-canceling.

Ports & connectivity

Port selection and wireless differ between the Intel and AMD versions, since Thunderbolt and Wi-Fi 7 are tied to the Intel platform here.

Intel (UX3405CA)
  • 2× Thunderbolt 4 USB-C (DisplayPort + Power Delivery, up to 40Gbps)
  • 1× USB-A 3.2 Gen 1
  • 1× HDMI 2.1
  • 1× 3.5mm combo audio jack
AMD (UM3406GA)
  • 1× USB4 Type-C (DisplayPort + Power Delivery, up to 40Gbps)
  • 1× USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 (DisplayPort + Power Delivery, up to 10Gbps)
  • 1× USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, 1× HDMI 2.1
  • 1× 3.5mm combo audio jack

Wi-Fi 7 (Intel) / Wi-Fi 6E (AMD) Bluetooth 5.4 Copilot+ PC

Battery, build & more

Battery & charging

75Whr 4-cell battery, rated for all-day runtime (up to ~18 hours of video playback). Charges over USB-C with a compact 65W (Intel) or 68W (AMD) adapter — no proprietary barrel plug. Fast charge reaches ~70% in about 49 minutes.

Camera & mic

FHD (1080p) IR webcam with Windows Hello facial recognition and a physical privacy shutter, compatible with Windows Studio Effects. Paired with a built-in array microphone.

31.24 × 22.01 × 1.49 cm (12.30" × 8.67" × 0.59").

Frequently asked questions

01 How do I confirm I have the latest Zenbook 14 OLED?
Check the regulatory label on the bottom panel for the model code. The current generation is UX3405CA (Intel) or UM3406GA (AMD) — UX = Intel, UM = AMD. The CPU confirms it: an Intel Core Ultra Series 2 (e.g. Ultra 7 255H, Ultra 9 285H) or an AMD Ryzen AI 400-series chip (e.g. Ryzen AI 7 445) means the latest model. The most common mix-up is the Intel UX3405CA versus the older UX3405MA — they share the UX3405 root but end in "CA" vs "MA." Also distinct are the 2025 UM3406KA (Ryzen AI 300) and the earlier UM3406HA / UX3402 models. Our ASUS model-number guide shows where to find it in Windows and on the chassis.
02 Can I upgrade the RAM or storage, and does it affect resale value?
The RAM is not upgradable. The LPDDR5X memory is soldered to the motherboard with no SO-DIMM slot, so whatever it shipped with (16GB or 32GB) is permanent. Storage is the only upgradable part: a single M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 slot, single-sided SSDs only. When you sell, just report the actual installed RAM and storage in the tool above — a higher soldered RAM tier and a larger SSD both raise your quote.
03 Should I wipe my SSD or remove it before shipping?
We recommend backing up your personal files to an external drive or the cloud, then signing out of your Microsoft account and removing the device from Windows Hello before boxing it. You don't need to remove the M.2 SSD yourself — our intake team runs certified multi-pass data sanitation on every incoming drive. You can review the full process on our data erasure protocols page.
04 Which configurations raise my Zenbook 14 OLED trade-in value the most?
The CPU tier and display drive most of the value. A Core Ultra 9 285H or Core Ultra 7 255H (or the Ryzen AI 7 445) values above the entry chips, and the premium 3K 120Hz OLED panel is worth more than the FHD+ 60Hz option. 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD both add to your final amount. Because the OLED panel is a key feature, a screen in clean, burn-in-free condition also helps. New to selling electronics? Our first-time seller's guide explains how condition and configuration shape your quote.
05 How fast do I get paid, and can I sell several laptops at once?
Once your Zenbook reaches our lab and passes component testing, payment is approved within two business days. You can choose PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, or CashApp, or a mailed paper check — and the prepaid, insured shipping label is completely free. If you're clearing out multiple laptops or an office fleet, our bulk selling program can set up a single quote for the whole batch.
