Frequently asked questions

01 How do I confirm I have the 2023 AORUS 15?
Flip the laptop over and read the label on the bottom panel, or open Settings → System → About. The 2023 model uses a 13th-gen Intel Core i7 (like the i7-13700H) with RTX 40-series graphics and DDR5 memory; the 2022 AORUS 15 used 12th-gen Intel and RTX 30-series, and there is a separate higher-spec AORUS 15X with an i9 and a max-TGP RTX 4070. Our guide to finding your laptop's model number walks you through it.
02 Does my AORUS 15 need to be in working condition to sell it?
Not necessarily. We buy laptops in a range of conditions, including those with cracked screens, battery issues, or units that won't power on. Select the condition that matches your device during the quote above — that determines your offer, and our team confirms it on inspection.
03 Should I remove my SSD or wipe my data before shipping?
We recommend backing up your files and signing out of your accounts first. You don't need to remove the SSD — every device we receive goes through certified data erasure. You can read exactly how we handle it on our data erasure protocols page.
04 Does a better GPU, more RAM, or extra storage increase my offer?
Yes. The graphics card is the biggest value driver — an RTX 4070 configuration is worth more than an RTX 4050 or 4060. The AORUS 15's two SO-DIMM slots and dual M.2 slots also mean higher RAM and storage builds earn more. Select the components that match what's actually installed when you build your quote.
05 How and when do I get paid?
Once we receive and inspect your AORUS 15, payment is issued within two business days. You can choose to be paid by check, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, or CashApp. Shipping to us is always free and insured with a prepaid label.
