The "1" in the model number marks the 2021 refresh and the new RTX 30-series graphics, not a new CPU generation. Only the AMD models (15-en1xxx) moved to a newer CPU family, the Ryzen 5000 series. 03 Does my Omen 15 have a Thunderbolt port?
Only the Intel models do. The 15-ek1xxx (Intel) includes a Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port, while the 15-en1xxx (AMD) has a standard USB-C port with DisplayPort but no Thunderbolt. This is a normal difference between the Intel and AMD platforms and does not indicate anything wrong with your laptop.
