The MSI Bravo 17 Series is MSI's 17.3-inch AMD-powered budget gaming line, spanning the original 2020 A4-series (Ryzen 4000), the 2023 C7-series (Ryzen 7000), and the 2024 D7-series. Every Bravo 17 is built on an AMD Ryzen processor, but the graphics changed dramatically across generations — the first model was all-AMD with Radeon RX graphics, while later models switched to NVIDIA GeForce RTX. Because the lineup spans several years and configurations, your exact generation, CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, and display determine its resale price. Before requesting a quote, identify your generation by its model code (A4, C7, or D7) so your specs match correctly. If you're trying to sell your laptop online, this is also where many owners discover that Gadget Salvation buys gaming laptops directly for real cash — Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, or check — with free shipping, no listings, and no haggling. Select your generation and components using our tool above to view an instant cash offer for your exact device.
Identify your Bravo 17 generation
The model code on the bottom-panel label is the fastest way to tell the generations apart. The A4-series (A4DDR / A4DDK / A4DX, 2020) is the all-AMD original with Radeon RX 5500M graphics and DDR4 memory. The C7-series (C7Vx / C7Ux, 2023) and D7-series (D7Vx / D7Ux, 2024) moved to NVIDIA RTX graphics, DDR5 memory, and PCIe Gen4 storage. As a rule, a "V" in the code (C7V, D7V) means the higher RTX 4060 tier, while a "U" (C7U, D7U) means the RTX 3050 tier. You can confirm your CPU and GPU under Settings → System → About in Windows. Our guide to finding your laptop's model number walks through reading your full specs.
