OnePlus Pad 2 is OnePlus's second-generation Android tablet, built for people who want a large, fast-refresh screen for note-taking, video, and multitasking without paying iPad prices. It pairs a flagship Snapdragon processor with a big 12.1-inch display and a stylus that clicks onto the frame magnetically. Because the hardware still competes with current-generation slates, resale demand stays healthy well past the first owner. Pick your connectivity option and condition in the picker above for a live cash offer, and see how the process works from quote to payment before you commit. If you are clearing out a stack of devices at once, you can also browse our tablet buyback options and get separate quotes for each.

Confirm you have the OnePlus Pad 2

On the tablet itself, go to Settings → About tablet and check the model name listed there. The Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + Cellular variants share the same model line but differ in whether a SIM tray or eSIM menu is present, which is the fastest way to tell them apart once you have the device in hand.

Wi-Fi Only

  • No SIM tray on the frame
  • Settings → Network shows Wi-Fi and Bluetooth only, no mobile network option
  • Connects only over Wi-Fi 7 for internet access

Wi-Fi + Cellular

  • Nano-SIM tray or eSIM support for mobile data
  • Settings → Network & internet includes a mobile network / SIM section
  • Same processor and display as the Wi-Fi model, with an added modem

Prefer a visual check? The OnePlus Pad 2 has a full aluminum unibody in Halo Green, a large rear camera housing near one corner, and a flat USB-C port on one edge with no headphone jack anywhere on the frame.

Core hardware

Processor

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3
  • Same silicon family used in recent flagship phones
  • Handles multitasking and split-screen apps without lag

Graphics

  • Adreno GPU integrated into the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3
  • No discrete graphics chip, as is standard for tablets in this class

Memory

  • 12GB LPDDR5X RAM
  • Soldered to the board, not user-upgradable

Storage

  • 256GB UFS 4.0 storage
  • Fixed capacity, no microSD expansion
  • Storage tier and cellular capability move resale value the most

Display & audio

Display. 12.1-inch LCD panel at 3392 x 2400 resolution in a 7:5 aspect ratio, closer to a sheet of paper than a widescreen movie frame. That ratio is a deliberate choice for reading and note-taking apps.

Refresh rate. Runs up to 144Hz, which makes scrolling and stylus input feel immediate compared with the 60Hz panels found on entry-level tablets.

Audio. Quad-speaker layout tuned with Dolby Atmos support. There is no headphone jack, so wired listening requires a USB-C adapter.

Ports & connectivity

One USB-C port handles charging, data transfer, and video out. The rest of the connections are wireless, plus a magnetic pogo-pin strip on one edge for the optional keyboard.

Wired
  • USB-C 3.2 (charging, data, video out)
  • Pogo-pin connector for the OnePlus keyboard accessory
Wireless
  • Wi-Fi 7
  • Bluetooth 5.4
  • Cellular modem on Wi-Fi + Cellular units only

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 144Hz display Wi-Fi 7 USB-C 3.2 Quad speakers Stylo stylus support SUPERVOOC fast charging

Battery, build & more

Battery. 9510mAh with 67W SUPERVOOC wired charging, sized for a tablet this large that people expect to run all day between charges.

Finish. Full aluminum unibody, sold in a single Halo Green colorway.

Software. Ships on OxygenOS built over Android, with OnePlus's usual multi-year update commitment for security patches.

Accessories. The OnePlus Stylo stylus and the OnePlus Magnetic Keyboard are sold separately and are not included in the box by default. Having them on hand raises what a buyback offer will pay for a complete kit.

Market positioning. Sits in the premium Android tablet tier, priced and specced to compete directly with mid-to-upper iPad models rather than budget slates.

Frequently asked questions

01 How do I find the model number or exact configuration?
Go to Settings → About tablet to see the model name, then check Settings → Network & internet to confirm whether a mobile network option exists. If it does, you have the Wi-Fi + Cellular variant; if only Wi-Fi and Bluetooth show, you have the Wi-Fi Only model. Storage capacity is also listed on the same About screen under storage or device specifications, which helps you match the right configuration in the picker above.
02 How do I tell it apart from the original OnePlus Pad?
The easiest tell is the display ratio and refresh rate. The original OnePlus Pad runs a slower refresh rate and a slightly different screen size, while the Pad 2 pushes up to 144Hz on its 12.1-inch panel. The Pad 2 also carries a newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip rather than the Dimensity processor in the first model. If you are unsure which one you own, Settings → About tablet will show the model name directly, which settles it faster than comparing specs by eye.
03 Can I sell it with damage, a weak battery, or a locked account?
Yes, in most cases. A cracked screen, a battery that drains fast, or a unit that won't power on all still qualify for a quote, just at a lower condition tier reflected in the price. What you cannot skip is removing your Google account and turning off any device-protection features like Find My Device before shipping, since a locked tablet can't be tested or resold and will be rejected or valued at parts price. Do that step even if the screen is broken; you can usually still access settings through an external display or by asking us for guidance.
04 What raises the trade-in value the most?
Condition and completeness matter most. A screen free of cracks or deep scratches, a battery that still holds a reasonable charge, and full functionality on the USB-C port and speakers all push the offer higher. Beyond the tablet itself, including the original charger, the OnePlus Stylo, or the Magnetic Keyboard adds value, since buyers pay more for a complete kit than for the slate alone. An unlocked Wi-Fi + Cellular unit also tends to hold value slightly better than Wi-Fi Only, since it fits more buyers.
05 How do I erase it and remove my accounts, and how do I get paid?
Back up anything you want to keep, then go to Settings → System → Reset options → Erase all data (factory reset). Before you reset, remove your Google account from Settings → Accounts and turn off Find My Device, since a Google account left signed in can trigger Factory Reset Protection and lock the next owner out. Once the tablet is wiped and the accounts are clear, ship it to us free and insured using the prepaid label we provide. We test the unit on arrival and send payment by PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, or check. Full erasure steps for every platform are on our data erasure protocols page.
