The Samsung Galaxy Book Pro launched in 2021 as Samsung's slim, AMOLED-equipped answer to the ultraportable Windows laptop market, sold in 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch sizes under model numbers NP930XDB and NP950XDB. It paired 11th generation Intel Core processors with a thin magnesium chassis, aimed at students and professionals who wanted a lightweight machine that could still handle everyday multitasking, video calls and streaming. Four years on, it still holds value on the secondhand market because of the low weight, the AMOLED panel and Samsung's tight integration with Galaxy phones and tablets. Pick your screen size, processor, memory and storage above, along with the condition that matches your unit, for an instant cash offer. Confirm you have the Galaxy Book Pro

The fastest way to confirm your exact model is through Windows itself. Press Windows key + R, type dxdiag, and check the "System" tab for the model name. You can also press Windows key + R, type msinfo32, and look at "System Model" for the full number. If the laptop won't boot, flip it over: the model number is printed on a sticker on the underside, next to the serial number.

NP930XDB

  • 13.3-inch screen size
  • Lighter of the two chassis sizes
  • Sold with Core i5 or Core i7, 11th generation Intel

NP950XDB

  • 15.6-inch screen size
  • Larger chassis, same processor options
  • Slightly larger battery to match the bigger display

Prefer a visual check? The 13.3-inch NP930XDB fits easily in one hand and feels noticeably thinner than most 13-inch ultrabooks. The 15.6-inch NP950XDB has a visibly larger keyboard deck and trackpad. Both share the same Mystic color finishes and a fingerprint reader built into the power button, top right of the keyboard.

Frequently asked questions

01 How do I find the model number / exact configuration?
Press Windows key + R, type dxdiag, and read the model name under the System tab, or type msinfo32 for the full System Model string. The model number is also printed on a sticker on the underside of the laptop, along with the processor, RAM and storage can be checked under Settings → System → About. If you'd rather do a full walkthrough, see how to find your Samsung laptop's model number.
02 How do I tell it apart from the Galaxy Book Pro 360?
The Galaxy Book Pro 360 has a touchscreen hinge that folds flat into tablet mode and ships with an S Pen, while the standard Galaxy Book Pro is a fixed clamshell with no touch input or pen support. If the screen folds back on itself or you have a stylus in the box, you have the 360 variant, not this model. Both share a similar chassis and AMOLED display, so this hinge test is the quickest way to tell them apart.
03 Can I sell it with damage or a locked account?
Yes. A cracked screen, a weak battery, a unit that won't power on, or a locked Microsoft account can all still be sold, and the condition picker above adjusts the offer to match. Before shipping, you do need to sign out of your Microsoft account, remove the device from that account online, and suspend BitLocker if it's active, so we can confirm the laptop isn't reported lost or stolen. A device that's still locked to someone else's account can't be tested or resold, so this step matters even on a unit that no longer turns on.
04 What raises the trade-in value the most?
Condition of the screen matters most on this model, given how commonly the AMOLED coating scratches or peels, so a clean panel stands out. Including the original charger, and a chassis free of dents or deep scuffs, also helps. Higher memory and storage configurations are worth more since they can't be upgraded after the fact, and a battery that still holds a full day's charge counts in your favor as well.
05 How do I erase it and remove my accounts, and how do I get paid?
Go to Settings → System → Recovery → Reset this PC and choose "Remove everything," then confirm the drive is wiped rather than just refreshed. Before or after resetting, sign in to your Microsoft account online and remove this device from it, and suspend BitLocker if it's turned on so the reset can complete cleanly. Once the laptop reaches us, shipping is free and insured, and we test the unit before releasing payment by PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, CashApp or check. Full steps, including how to confirm the wipe took effect, are on our data erasure protocols page.
