The Samsung Galaxy S24+ launched in 2024 as the mid-tier flagship in Samsung's S24 lineup, sitting between the compact S24 and the S Pen-equipped S24 Ultra. Known internally as SM-S926, with carrier and regional variants including SM-S926U1 and SM-5S926UZKAXAA, it targeted buyers who wanted the larger 6.7-inch display and bigger battery of the Ultra without paying for the titanium frame or stylus. It shipped with Samsung's Galaxy AI suite, a strong point for resale since software support windows on this generation run long. Between the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and a camera system that still holds up against current mid-range phones, the S24+ remains a phone worth reselling rather than shelving. Pick your carrier, storage, and condition above for a live cash offer, or see how the process works before you commit. If you have a different Samsung phone on hand, you can still sell your smartphone through the same flow.

Confirm you have the Galaxy S24+

Open Settings → About phone → Model number on the device itself. This shows the exact SKU, which tells you the carrier lock status and region, both of which affect the offer. If the phone is dead or the screen is cracked past readability, the model number is also printed on the SIM tray in most cases, though not always legibly.

Frequently asked questions

01 How do I find the model number or exact configuration?
Go to Settings → About phone → Model number. This shows the full SKU, such as SM-S926U1, which tells you the region and carrier lock status. Storage tier can be checked in the same About phone menu, or under Settings → Battery and device care → Storage. If the phone won't power on, the original box or receipt usually lists the model and storage together, and the SIM tray sometimes carries a printed model code as a backup.
02 How do I tell it apart from the Galaxy S24 Ultra?
Check the frame material and the bottom edge first. The S24 Ultra has a flat titanium frame and an S Pen silo built into the bottom of the chassis; the S24+ has an aluminum frame and no stylus slot. The Ultra's screen also runs slightly larger at 6.8 inches versus 6.7 inches on the Plus, and the Ultra's camera housing includes a periscope zoom lens the Plus does not have.
03 Can I sell it with damage, like a cracked screen or weak battery?
Yes, damaged units are still accepted, and the condition picker above accounts for cracked screens, battery wear, and units that won't power on. Whatever the physical condition, Samsung's Find My Mobile lock and your Google account must be removed before shipping. Go to Settings → Biometrics and security → Find My Mobile to turn it off, and remove your Google account under Settings → Accounts and backup. A device still locked to an account cannot be tested or paid out.
04 What raises the trade-in value the most?
Storage tier and screen condition move the offer the most. A 512GB unit in good cosmetic shape with a healthy battery sits well above a 256GB unit with visible screen wear. Carrier status matters too: a fully unlocked SM-S926U1 is generally easier to resell than a carrier-locked unit tied to a single network. Including the original box and cable helps marginally but matters far less than the screen and battery health.
05 How do I erase it and remove my accounts, and how do I get paid?
Back up anything you want to keep, then go to Settings → General management → Reset → Factory data reset. Before that, remove your Google account under Settings → Accounts and backup, and turn off Find My Mobile under Settings → Biometrics and security. Confirm the reset completes and the phone reboots to the initial setup screen before shipping it. Full steps are also listed under our data erasure protocols. Shipping is free and insured, and payment goes out after inspection and testing, by PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, or check, whichever you choose at checkout.
