The Acer Nitro V 15 (ANV15) is Acer's budget gaming line built to be a friendly gateway into PC gaming, and it has shipped across three distinct chassis generations from 2023 through 2025: the Intel ANV15-51, the AMD ANV15-41, and the refreshed Intel ANV15-52. All three share the same 15.6-inch Obsidian Black shell and dual-fan cooling, but they use different processors, graphics tiers, memory types, and displays — so the exact price of your machine depends heavily on which one you own. If you'd rather trade yours in for cash than let it sit in a drawer, we buy the full Acer Nitro line. Use the selector above to pick your exact configuration and see an instant offer. Not sure which generation you have? The identification guide below walks you through it in plain language.

Which Nitro V 15 do you have?

Every ANV15 has a model string printed on the sticker on the bottom of the laptop, starting with ANV15- followed by two digits. Those two digits are the fastest way to tell your generation apart. Match yours to one of the three cards below.

✅ ANV15-51 — Intel 13th Gen (2023)

  • Intel 13th-generation Core processors (i5-13420H, i7-13620H, i9-13900H)
  • NVIDIA RTX 2050, RTX 3050, RTX 4050, or RTX 4060
  • 15.6" Full HD (1920 × 1080) IPS, 144Hz
  • The original Intel model — first to launch in the series

✅ ANV15-41 — AMD Ryzen (2023–2024)

  • AMD Ryzen 7000-series processors (Ryzen 5 7535HS, Ryzen 7 7735HS)
  • NVIDIA RTX 2050, RTX 3050, RTX 4050, or RTX 4060
  • 15.6" Full HD (1920 × 1080) IPS, 144Hz or 165Hz
  • The AMD-powered model — includes a USB4 port instead of Thunderbolt

✅ ANV15-52 — Intel Refresh (2024–2025)

  • Intel Core (Series 1 / 13th Gen mix): Core 5 210H, Core 7 240H, Core 9 270H, plus carried-over i5-13420H / i7-13620H / i9-13900H
  • NVIDIA RTX 3050, RTX 4050, RTX 5050, RTX 5060, or RTX 5070
  • 15.6" Full HD (1920 × 1080) IPS, 165Hz or 180Hz
  • The newest Intel model — only one to offer RTX 50-series "Blackwell" graphics

Quick tip: If you're not sure, press the Windows key, type msinfo32, and press Enter. The "System Model" line shows your full ANV15 code. You can also flip the laptop over — the model number is on the label near the barcode. Need a hand? See our Acer model-number guide.

  • ANV15-52: NVIDIA RTX 3050 / RTX 4050 / RTX 5050 / RTX 5060 / RTX 5070
  • The GPU is the single biggest driver of resale value. RTX 50-series chips are exclusive to the ANV15-52.

Memory (RAM)

  • Dual-channel DDR5 across all three generations (8GB, 16GB, or 32GB factory options)
  • Two SO-DIMM slots — user-upgradable up to 32GB (some SKUs support higher)
  • RAM is on removable sticks, not soldered — a nice upgrade advantage over pricier gaming laptops.

Storage

  • M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD — 512GB or 1TB standard shipping capacities
  • Two M.2 2280 slots for adding a second drive
  • On most units one slot is PCIe Gen 4 and the second is limited to Gen 3 speeds.

Display & audio

Display

Every ANV15 uses a 15.6-inch Full HD (1920 × 1080) IPS panel with roughly 300 nits brightness. Refresh rate rose across generations: the ANV15-51 ships at 144Hz, the ANV15-41 at 144Hz or 165Hz, and the newer ANV15-52 at 165Hz or 180Hz. There are no 1440p or OLED options on this line — all panels are 1080p.

Audio

Dual down-firing speakers tuned with DTS:X Ultra and Acer TrueHarmony. Acer PurifiedVoice noise reduction is included on the ANV15-52 for clearer voice chat and calls.

Ports & connectivity

Port layout is broadly consistent across the family, with one important difference in the high-speed USB-C port depending on which generation you own.

Left Side
  • 1× USB-C high-speed port Thunderbolt 4 on Intel ANV15-51 & ANV15-52 · USB4 on AMD ANV15-41. Both carry DisplayPort video out.
  • 1× HDMI 2.1
  • 1× RJ-45 Killer Gigabit Ethernet
  • 1× DC-in power
Right Side
  • 2×–3× USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports (count varies by SKU)
  • 1× 3.5mm headphone/microphone combo jack

Wi-Fi 6 (ANV15-51 / -41) Wi-Fi 6 / 6E (ANV15-52) Bluetooth 5.1–5.4 Gigabit Ethernet

Battery, build & more

Battery & charging

A 57 Whr battery is standard, with a 76 Whr option on some ANV15-52 units. Chargers range from a 135W to 180W barrel adapter depending on the GPU tier — higher-power RTX chips ship with the larger brick. There is no USB-C charging.

Weight

≈ 2.1 kg (4.6 lb) — consistent across all three generations.

Build

Obsidian Black plastic chassis with a subtle gradient lid accent. 15.6-inch footprint, roughly 24 mm thick.

Frequently asked questions

01 How do I find the exact model number of my Acer Nitro V 15?
Flip the laptop over and look at the label near the barcode — you'll see a code that starts with ANV15- followed by two numbers and a short suffix (for example, ANV15-51-51H9). The two numbers right after "ANV15-" tell you the generation: 51 is the Intel 13th Gen model, 41 is the AMD model, and 52 is the newer Intel refresh. If the sticker is worn off, press the Windows key, type msinfo32, hit Enter, and read the "System Model" line. Our step-by-step Acer model-number guide and general laptop model-number guide walk through it with pictures.
02 How is the Nitro V 15 different from the Nitro V 16, Nitro 5, and Aspire?
These look similar but are priced differently, so it's worth confirming. The Nitro V 15 always starts with ANV15 and has a 15.6-inch screen. The Nitro V 16 (ANV16) and Nitro V 17 (ANV17) are the larger 16-inch and 17-inch versions — different chassis, often higher GPUs, and a separate quote. The older Nitro 5 uses an AN515 code and is a previous-era design. And the Aspire is Acer's non-gaming line — it won't have the Nitro branding or a discrete RTX GPU in most cases. If your sticker doesn't read exactly "ANV15," pick the matching product page so your offer reflects the right machine.
03 Can I sell my Nitro V 15 if it has wear, a cracked screen, or won't turn on?
Yes. We buy Nitro V 15 laptops in every condition — whether yours runs perfectly, has scuffs and worn keycaps, loud or failing fans, a battery that no longer holds a charge, a cracked display, or won't power on at all. Just set the matching condition options above and your quote adjusts to a firm cash figure. Even a non-working unit has real value in its GPU, CPU, RAM, and SSD.
04 Did you know you can trade in your Nitro V 15 for cash instead of letting it collect dust?
Many people don't realize that a used budget gaming laptop still holds solid trade-in value — especially a Nitro V 15. The GPU is the single biggest factor: a configuration with an RTX 4060 or an RTX 50-series chip pays out noticeably more than an RTX 2050 or RTX 3050 build. A newer ANV15-52 generation, an i7/i9 or Core 7/Core 9 processor, 32GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, and the faster 180Hz panel all lift your final offer too. Our Acer Nitro trade-in service gives you a free, no-obligation quote in minutes, with free insured shipping and fast payment — a genuinely easier route than listing it yourself and dealing with lowball buyers.
05 Do I need to wipe my data first, and how do I get paid?
We recommend backing up anything you want to keep — files, photos, game saves — to an external drive or the cloud, then signing out of your Microsoft account before you ship. You don't need to remove the SSD yourself; our team runs certified multi-pass data-sanitization on every incoming drive. You can read exactly how we handle it on our data erasure protocols page. Once your laptop arrives and passes intake testing, payment is approved within about two business days via PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, or a mailed check. Your prepaid shipping label is free and fully insured.
